As cooler weather starts, I always start to think of soup. This black-eyed pea soup is easy to make and I usually have the ingredients already in my kitchen. For busy days, having dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes is always a good thing. I hope you like this as much as we do.
Oh I am praying today is a good day for you. I make this soup on New Year’s Day and add a bag of frozen chopped collards and sometimes leftover ham instead of bacon. By the time New Year’s Day rolls around we are over big meals, and this soup hits the spot with a pan of cornbread. Thank you for your recipes and your precious words of faith.
I watch you make wonderful food all the time. I ordered your cookbook and I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy your page. You remind me of my momma , she had leaukemia. I understand your battle and I will pray for you to recover and keep spreading the word! Salt and light always! You got this girl! Blessings and love
