One of my followers wanted to know if I had a recipe for a Fruit Cocktail Cake. She said her mother used to make one and she didn't have her recipe. This brought back memories of a cake that my mother made many years ago. I found the recipe and it tastes just like I remembered.

This is the exact recipe I used to use on my German Chocolate Cake. When it dawned on me I really don't like German Chocolate (or chocolate cake of any kind) I stopped making this topping. Thanks for giving me a reason again.
