Sometimes you can tell by the name of a recipe that it's going to be good. When my son-in-law told me about a "GRANNY CAKE" I knew that I had to make it. I think anything our grandmothers made was good. This cake is simple. Ingredients are those you probably have and it is so delicious and moist. The picture above is after it was cut, but the one below is the cake before it was cut. I hope you will try it.

I can hardly wait to make this cake I saw you making in your video on FB. I love anything that involves pineapple, brown sugar, and pecans. You could even add some coconut (about 1/2 cup) and oatmeal (about 1/2 cup) to the icing. Makes it like a coffee cake. Going to try it both ways! I love to create my own recipes, too.
