Canning is a lot of work, but we love having fresh tomatoes all winter long. I use them in soups, recipes, or to make stewed tomatoes over cornbread. My stewed tomatoes recipes is in my Volume 2 cookbook.

When I was on chemo, most smells made me sick. I could eat my 3 Ingredient Potato Soup and this recipe for Thickened Boiled Potatoes. Potatoes are a comfort food, aren't they? Plus we always have them in our pantry. I love to eat them with some garden veggies and cornbread.
